At Trapiche they like to make wines from just one grape. In this case 100% pinot noir. This Gran Medalla was made on the occasion of the winery's 125th anniversary. The grapes come from the best vineyards of the Uco Valley. It matures for 12 months in French oak barrels. Partly new and partly used for the second and third time. You taste strawberry, raspberry and earthy notes such as forest soil and mushrooms. Delicious with truffle risotto or poultry.
