The Arrogant Frog wines from winemaker Jean-Claude Mas from the Languedoc are a great success. The grapes for these wines come from 20 hectares of the best vineyards in Limoux. This blend consists of 80% malbec and 20% syrah. Part of the blend is briefly aged in new oak barrels. This gives a vanilla and liquorice aroma to the aftertaste. Jean-Claude's mission was to make good and affordable wine for the modern wine drinker, because an expensive wine is not always a good one.
