Faustino is one of Rioja's most famous producers. This Crianza is made from 100% tempranillo. It matures for 14 months in American oak. This gives the taste of vanilla, caramel and spices. In addition, the Crianza from Faustino is known for its fruity character. Of all ripening categories, the Crianza is the most youthful. You taste a mix of red and black fruit. In the Netherlands we tend to serve this wine with homemade hamburger or pasta with meatballs. In Spain they serve it slightly chilled with tuna steak or mushroom risotto.
