The Rio Coco is a soft, round and sweet coffee with a medium body. The coffee has delicious hints of chocolate, licorice and blackberry and is a real pleasure to drink.

 

The Rio Coco is a beautiful medium roast coffee from Nicaragua. The coffee is smooth, round and sweet with hints of chocolate, licorice and blackberry. The aftertaste is pleasant, not intense. That makes the Rio Coco a delicious accessible coffee.

 

What is striking about this coffee are the beautiful, large coffee beans. Part of the coffee therefore consists of Maragogype (elephant beans). These coffee beans are grown by the Coco cooperative next to the river Coco, from which the coffee owes its name. The river is an important lifeline of the region and provides an important resource, that of water. This makes the land extremely suitable for growing and processing this beautiful Rio Coco coffee.
