The Syrah is on the rise in Chile. The grape is resistant to heat and therefore thrives well in the warmer regions of South America. The taste is very powerful with notes of berries, blackberries and chocolate with quite present tannins. Because of this structure, this red wine fits perfectly with food with a lot of flavor, such as game or stews.
